I am Don Robles, and I'm a comic.

I was a software developer for 11 years and in that time I learned the job was straightforward, the people were quirky, and the money was nice, but boy did it take a piece of my soul each day.

I had stability, sure, but occasionally I'd face an existential crisis of purpose before convincing myself the security was worth the trade. Then on January 7th, 2022, the argument failed and I quit.

That same day, facing an unknown future, I prayed to God for guidance and despite having no knowledge of joke writing, no performance experience, and armed only with a lifelong love of laughter, and a conviction to purposeful living, I received the motivation to pursue being a comic.

And here I am, giving everything to the mystery of comedy, for a purpose I didn't know I wanted, to achieve a goal I've yet to name, in the hopes that somehow my life means something!

I admit, it's scary, but it feels great!! So please join me in this adventure I've embarked on! 

I can't promise you laughs (yet), but I can promise you effort!
